Bank Needs Java Architect on Contract

I am searching for a hybrid contract Java Architect for a Capital Market, Banking, or Financial Company that requires domain experience. Due to the hybrid nature of this position, the consultant may work from any of the locations. Included are Charlotte, San Francisco, Minneapolis, Des Moines, St. Louis, New York, Salt Lake City, Raleigh, Philadelphia, Chicago, Boston, Dallas, or Atlanta. The consultant should always be accessible in the office.

 

Technical/Interpersonal Skills:

·        Five or more years of capital market/Forex or financial services experience is necessary to apply for this job.

·        Consultant must have a minimum of ten years of experience architecting mission-critical software solutions in an enterprise context employing architectural design principles, as well as a thorough grasp of Enterprise Design Patterns, DDD, and RESTFul Architecture. There must be at least ten years of OOP, Java/.NET/C++, Agile, and application/systems architect expertise.

·        Must have at least five years of expertise designing microservices, APIs, APIGateway, microservice patterns, Integration patterns, Middleware technologies, and messaging technologies. Consultants must be capable of evaluating suppliers, communicating verbally and in writing with top executives, and developing and negotiating solutions with partners or customers, including escalations. Excellent cooperation, partnership, organisation, multitasking, and prioritisation abilities are required.

·        He must have excellent oral, writing, and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to influence across all organisational levels, especially senior management, and the aptitude to absorb and communicate complicated technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·        This consultant must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science at minimum.
