My client needs a Voice / Contact Centre-based project manager to work on a hybrid basis from either Florida or New Jersey. This will be a long-term agreement.

 

Job Description:

·     Over 10 years of programme management and/or consulting experience. Infrastructure expertise. Experience deploying end-user devices.

·     Planning POTS-to-VoIP knowledge, networking technologies (Layer 2, Layer 3, WLAN, Routing protocols, DNS, and DHCP); Cisco and HPE Aruba manufacturing equipment; OSI and TCP/IP layers. OS expertise (Microsoft Windows and Red Hat Linux). IT security knowledge (Firewalls, IDS, WAF, etc.). One to three years of Financial Services (especially Retail Consumer Banking) Technology experience.

·     Complex IT project management demanding leadership and skill. Lifecycle development experience. Proven project management tools. PMI/PMP certification is available. Program structure, knowledge groupings, and life cycle knowledge. Five years' matrix management of cross-functional teams and procedures. Complete the project on time, under budget, and to business and technical standards. Projects leverage internal and external resources.

·     Integration, resource forecasting, budgeting, reporting, prioritising, tool selection, application, and integration, variance analysis, and communication are my specialties. Excellent oral and written communication. Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project expertise. Writing for certain audiences. Chrome and Edge browser expertise. Microsoft Teams and Cisco WebEx expertise. Telecom Tools Expertise (Desk Phone and Mobile Phone).

On Monday, February 6 at 3pm EST (New York time), the AAA’s IG on NGOs and Non-Profits will be hosting another Zoom event focusing on Anthropology/NGOs dilemmas.

 

This time, Dr. Lorena Gibson (https://people.wgtn.ac.nz/lorena.gibson) has kindly agreed to present a case that raises issues/concerns familiar to many. What do we do when the NGOs we’re working with fail?  More here:

 

What do we do when the NGOs we are working with for our research fail? Does that spell failure for our research projects? What happens to ethnographic research when the NGOs we work with spend more time dealing with conflict, tension, distrust, disappointment, and failure than they do pursuing their social justice goals? What are the implications of researchers being able to write about failure in ways that will ultimately benefit their careers, while the NGOs themselves have fallen apart? How do we re-orient our knowledge in these situations? In this session I share my experiences of working with community-based NGOs and reflect on my decision to end a research project without producing any publications (an academic failure). I hope to inspire discussions about what constitutes failure in NGO and academic settings, and how we might write ethnographically – and ethically – about failure. The session will begin with a brief introduction to the case at hand followed by a moderated discussion (in which all attendees are welcome to participate) of relevant issues and experiences.

Technical/Interpersonal Skills:

·        Five or more years of capital market/Forex or financial services experience is necessary to apply for this job.

·        Consultant must have a minimum of ten years of experience architecting mission-critical software solutions in an enterprise context employing architectural design principles, as well as a thorough grasp of Enterprise Design Patterns, DDD, and RESTFul Architecture. There must be at least ten years of OOP, Java/.NET/C++, Agile, and application/systems architect expertise.

·        Must have at least five years of expertise designing microservices, APIs, APIGateway, microservice patterns, Integration patterns, Middleware technologies, and messaging technologies. ·        He must have excellent oral, writing, and interpersonal communication skills, the ability to influence across all organisational levels, especially senior management, and the aptitude to absorb and communicate complicated technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical audiences.

·        This consultant must have a Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Science at minimum.
