[ND-DC-YA] Notre Dame vs. Michigan Game Watch

Join fellow alumni, friends, and members of the ND DC Club to watch the Fighting Irish take on Michigan to kick off the season. Our first game watch of the 2018 season will be hosted by Finn McCools on Barracks Row. This Irish bar is excited to host us!! Kickoff is at 7:30pm.

FOOTBALL TICKET PRE-SALE OPEN NOW!

Our ND-DC football tickets are now on sale to non-members, as well as members. Purchase tickets here: http://washingtondc.undclub.org/footballtickets_18


ND-DC has tickets to the following games:

  • Ball State (Sept. 8) - $95

  • Vanderbilt (Sept. 15) - $95

  • Florida State (Nov. 10) - $165


We expect the tickets will be in one large block, which is great for large groups, as you will be seated together! We do not yet know the section or row location.


The Alumni Association encourages clubs to use their ticket allotments as a scholarship fundraiser. As is our custom, ND-DC ticket prices include a $20 markup, which covers shipping and will support our Scholarship Fund for local ND students and Summer Service Learning Program students.

Volunteer With Father McKenna Center


The Notre Dame Club is volunteering at the Father McKenna Center (19 I St NW, Metro accessible!) on Saturday, September 8. The Day Shelter welcomes approximately 50 homeless men each day for an array of services. Without volunteers, the shelter is not be able to be open on Saturdays - so this would really help them out! They need volunteer support 7:30 - 1:30, which is broken up into 2 shifts (7:30-10:30, 10:30 - 1:30). If you are interested in helping out, please email MaryKate Robinson at marykate@alumni.nd.edu and indicate what shift you would like to volunteer for.

Notre Dame Women Connect - Lessons in Leadership


Join us for the kick-off of the next season of Notre Dame Women Connect Lessons in Leadership, featuring ND alum Haley Scott DeMaria! This event will be held on September 19th in Rayburn House Office Building at 5:30pm. FOOTBALL TICKET EXCHANGE

The alumni ticket exchange will continue to operate in the same, user-friendly mode that it has for the last several years. To subscribe, go to this YAHOO group online: ND_Tix_DC_ALUM-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. The group members from 2017 have been retained; however, whether new or "old," you must be a dues-paid member of the DC Alumni Club to participate, so please make sure your dues are paid! All tickets traded through this exchange are FACE VALUE ONLY. Emails will go out to the group each Sunday of football season with updated requests and sales. You can get your requests in anytime over the summer by emailing ND_Tix_DC_ALUM-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. The actual exchange will begin approximately in early August. Questions? Contact John Adams.
