[tfctoastmasters:461] TFC April 3 Meeting Agenda
Please find attached tonight's meeting agenda. We'll have a shortened meeting since two speakers had to reschedule.
Our meeting begins at 6:45pm and is located at 1875 Connecticut Avenue, at the intersection of Connecticut Avenue and T Street across from the Washington Hilton Hotel. Please try to arrive by 6:40pm to ensure that we start and end on time. If you have a role and are running late, please be sure to text me at 202-821-8074 so we can plan accordingly.
As a reminder: it's Dues Renewal Time. Please bring $40 cash or check payable to TFC Toastmasters. Or check your email for a note from our Treasurer if you haven't already.
The building is located approximately 3 blocks from the Dupont Circle Metro (red line), North exit on the right. You can also take the 42 Bus heading north from Metro Center. If you need to park, there are normally metered spots in front of building on Connecticut available, as well as some spots on T Street. There are two entrances (1825 & 1875) and we need to enter through the 1875 entrance ("Universal North"). The doors will be locked, so we will meet in the lobby before the meeting. If you come after the start of the meeting, the building guard will let you inside. Please give the guard your name and he or she will let you up to the meeting on the 12th floor at the American Public Power Association's main conference room.
Cheers!
Tanya

I'm completely open to sharing a place with roommates. Please contact tkrcmaric@gmail.com for details.
· (NEW) My name is John Vernon and I am an undergraduate student at the University of Notre Dame (Class of 2014). This summer I will be working at a 10 week summer internship in Washington, D.C. I am interesting in finding a suitable and affordable living situation close to Capital Hill or Foggy Bottom with accessibility to the Metro. The Career Center and some of my fellow students suggested contacting the ND Alumni Club to see if anyone would be willing to rent out a room or a basement apartment in their home. I will be there during the weekdays, but go home to Annapolis to see my parents on weekends (Fridays - Sunday night/Monday morning). I have a stipend and would be able to pay weekly for room and board for the entire time I will be working. Contact jvernon@nd.edu if you can help!
· Looking for a roommate to fill second bedroom in 2br, 2ba. I am a female graduate student at CUA looking for a roommate for now until the end of August. Room is available now, living area is already furnished. Apartment is in a new building, safe, with a washer/dryer in unit and fitness center in building. Must be willing to live with my almost 17 year old small parrot. Apartment is conveniently located right on top of the Wheaton Metro stop (Red line) and easy walking distance to a shopping mall with grocery store, Target, and soon, Costco! Rent is about $970 plus Utilities, but is negotiable. All inquiries welcome! Dana.m.christensen@gmail.com

· (NEW) Maria Smith (ND 05) is looking for a roommate/s to split a one-year lease on an apartment or row house on the green/yellow line starting in June, possibly near Columbia Heights or U Street.
