The journal Economic Anthropology (Wiley Blackwell) is calling for open submissions for Volume 10, Number 1, which is to be published in January 2023. EA is a bi-annual refereed journal published by the Society for Economic Anthropology (SEA) to make available research that is innovative, interdisciplinary, and focused on economic and social life to serve scholars, practitioners, and general audiences. The journal has recorded the highest rate of readership growth and citations for all 34 American Anthropological Association journals. To further the goal of making the most current research available to a broad audience, EA emphasizes clear and accessible writing. We encourage authors to take advantage of the journal's online format and incorporate photos, graphics, and links to videos or other related materials. The journal considers the work of scholars and practitioners from throughout the world and at all points in their careers, including advanced PhD students.
Timeliness is an important consideration in the EA publication process. It is our goal to bring each issue to final publication within approximately one year from the date of submission. This ambitious deadline represents a big commitment to getting new work out quickly and serves everyone's interests, including junior scholars who are especially pressed to publish in quality journals without long lead times.
EA promotes inclusivity, diversity, antiracism, and anti-colonialism. We therefore encourage our potential contributors to cite relevant publications of members of historically marginalized groups and scholars from countries where the research was carried out.

This call for papers (CFPs) offers a tremendous opportunity to have your work reviewed and potentially published within a year! Manuscripts must be submitted no later than January 15, 2022 to be considered for this issue. The requirements for consideration include the following:
GUIDELINES FOR SUBMISSIONS:
If you are interested in pursuing the possibility of getting your work published in EA, please submit a polished article through our ScholarOne online submission portal at https://mc.manuscriptcentral.com/americananthro-ea:
- The article must draw on original and clearly presented research.
- The article must present clear contributions to existing scholarship.
- The article needs to concern the interaction of economic and social life.
- The writing must be very clear and very well organized. Keep jargon to a minimum, or where possible, explain complex terms with ordinary language. Significant readability problems will disqualify an article before it goes to peer review.
- Articles should not exceed 8,000 words including abstract, notes, references, and captions. Two graphics are permitted in the online typeset version. Additional text and graphics are welcome as Supplementary Material, accessible from the article. Please upload all Tables and Figures as separate high quality files and indicate where they should be located in the main file.
- Please be sure to anonymize all files for review.
- Articles must conform to the Chicago Manual of Style, Author-Date formatting as well as the journal's Author Guidelines.

The benefits of submitting to EA are plenty—our journal is part of the AAA consortium of scholarly journals indexed in AnthroSource. EA is also indexed in a number of ProQuest and CABI products and is easily found online. Wiley Blackwell does a lot of work on search engine optimization to ensure that EA's content is discoverable. They work closely with Google to ensure that articles meet all criteria for inclusion in Google search engines and our articles are indexed by Google, allowing them to be discoverable by abstract terms, as well as terms available only within the full text. Wiley Blackwell also actively promotes EA content across multiple disciplines, including anthropology and economics.

St. Mary's College of Maryland is recruiting a Public Humanities Fellow to build on national attention for the College's recently dedicated Commemorative to Enslaved Peoples of Southern Maryland by leading a one-year grant-funded project. By supporting existing humanities programming and participating in community engagement work with invested people and projects in the campus and local community, the Public Humanities Fellow will take responsibility for two central objectives: 1) creating a long-term plan for activities and public outreach related to this monument for use by the College; and 2) completing scholarly research in the humanities related to the Fellow's expertise that bears directly on the experiences of the enslaved in the historical and contemporary American landscape. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in any field of the humanities specializing in histories of enslavement, antiracism and social justice, and/or monuments and memory and a commitment to public humanities in museums and heritage work, galleries, libraries, and archives, or other cultural and service organizations. The successful candidate should expect a November 2021 start date with compensation set at $60,000 with health care benefits.
