LOOKING FOR TEMPORARY HOUSING

*** (NEW) 3/25 My name is David Spicer and I am a second-year law student at Notre Dame who will be working at the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops this summer in Washington (with a start date of May 20 and an end date of August 2) and am looking for temporary housing. Additionally, I have a nearly three-year-old German Shepherd who will be accompanying me. I would greatly appreciate any assistance with respect to my housing search. Many thanks, David dspicer@nd.edu ***

*** (NEW) 3/25  Hi everyone! My name is Allison Wettstein O'Neill, a 2013 ND grad and current 2L at Stanford Law. I am looking for temporary housing/summer sublet in DC (also open to Arlington) from June 8 - August 17. I will be working in City Center, so I'm open to any locations that are reachable by public transit  or walking to that location. If you or someone you know has a sublet available, please reach out at awettste@alumni.nd.edu or by phone at 608.397.5963 ***

*** 3/7 I'm a 2012 ND grad and current 1L at UCLA Law looking for temporary summer housing in DC or Arlington (metro/bus accessible to Downtown DC) for the duration of a summer internship, from end of May to end of July/beginning of August. If you or someone you know has a sublet available, please reach out at alyssamorones12@gmail.com. Thank you!***

*** 1/31 Hi Everyone! I am a current sophomore at ND looking for place to stay during my summer internship in the Tysons Corners/McLean area at Capital Automotive. I will have my car, but if possible, proximity to the train would be a plus. The program starts June 3, so I would like to move in sometime between Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1, stay for 10 weeks, and move out August 10. Please reach out if you or someone you know has a place for me to stay during the upcoming summer. I can be contacted at
nquartir@nd.edu. Thanks so much! Nick***

LOOKING FOR PERMANENT HOUSING

***(NEW) 3/25 Hi! I'm a 2017 grad looking to live in a group house in DC or Arlington with 2-3 other females. I'm hoping to find fun, lighthearted roommates that like having people over, happy hour, exploring DC, and watching ND football. I work for a nonprofit in Farragut Square, so I would love to live close to a blue/orange/silver or red line metro stop. I have a flexible move-in date as I can break my current lease in Capitol Hill at anytime, but I'd love to move by May or June. If you're interested or know someone who might be, please contact me at sjenkin3@alumni.nd.edu ***

***(NEW) 3/25 My name is Emily Alff, and I'm looking for roommates and an apartment in the DC-area. I graduated from Notre Dame in '18, and I'm headed to DC for a journalism fellowship. I'll be working at CBS News as their latest news associate. My work schedule changes every few months, and I'll learn more once I'm in DC. I consider myself a fairly neat person, and I also really respect boundaries. I'm looking for roommates who do the same. Personally, I'm a very avid movie-goer and reader. I really love watching independent films, but that doesn't mean I'm not trying to reserve my Avengers: Endgame tickets as we speak. You can reach me at emilyalff@gmail.com***

I enjoy going to different cultural events, street festivals, paint nights, and happy hours with friends, but I also enjoy a more relaxing night in. I am also involved with the young adult group at my church so am often helping with different events for that. I am interested in getting to know my roommates and creating a sense of community in the apartment.

[wapadc] contact to value African diaspora memorabilia earrings

Greetings all.  Is there anyone on this list that has contacts at the African American museum or elsewhere in the Baltimore/Washington area who could help me find someone who could accurately appraise and honestly/appropriately help me market a pair of african/carribean tourist earrings from the 1940s?  These are the kinds of things that were considered ethnic then and are now understood as racist.

I found them in a box of jewelry from my grandmother/mother and would like to get them into the hands of someone which will use them for educational or other appropriate purposes and out of mine.  I can't just give them away to a museum because I need the money for vet bills.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Jo Anne

New Domain properties added to your account

Dear Search Console user,

The Search Console team is always trying to improve our product, based on user feedback. One common complaint we heard is that users don't like having to create separate properties to cover http, https, www, m, and other variations of their site. We heard you, and we are proud to introduce a great new feature, called a Domain property, to consolidate your common site variations into a single property.

A Domain property includes URLs from all subdomains, paths, and protocols. For example, if you define your Domain property as "example.com", your property includes URLs from example.com, m.example.com, www.example.com, and any other subdomains of example.com, on both http and https.

The addition of these properties will not affect or remove your existing properties. You can remove these properties if you like. Domain properties are available only in new Search Console.

We've created the following Domain properties for you, based on your existing properties (maximum 8 properties shown):

You'll find these properties in your account today.
