Note: listings include the date in which they first appeared or were last updated on the housing newsletter. Please help us keep these emails up to date by letting me know when your housing needs have been met so I can remove your listing. Thank you! Go Irish.

FOR ANY NEW HOUSING REQUESTS, OR TO CHANGE, ALTER, OR REMOVE A LISTING, PLEASE EMAIL MARIA PAULA ELIZONDO AT MP.ELIZONDO@GMAIL.COM.

LOOKING FOR TEMPORARY HOUSING

*** 11/27 Hello everyone! My name is Juliette Garcia-Flahaut, a junior, electrical engineering major currently at Notre Dame. I am looking for a place to stay for the duration of my internship this summer (about 10-12 weeks, starting May 29th 2018). I will be interning at a company in Centerville, VA and am looking to rent out either a room or an apartment. Please email me at jgarci20@nd.edu if you can help me out. Thank you!***

LOOKING FOR PERMANENT HOUSING

*** 2/9 Hello, my name is Luis, I'm an ND Senior and will be moving to DC in June to start working full time. I'm looking for a male roommate and I'm open to living in both DC and VA. If you are interested please email me at luis.young96@gmail.com. Thanks.***

*** 10/2 Hey! I'm looking for a room in DC starting October 1st. I graduated from ND in 2014 and am an architect/urban designer moving to the city at the end of the month for a new job and to be closer to my family. I'm looking to find an apartment with access to the red line since I'll be commuting out to Bethesda. I'm up for moving into an existing place or finding an apartment with someone. I'm a respectful and clean roommate, and would have no problem keeping the common areas clean. I'll be pretty busy with work during the week and usually hit the gym after work, but am definitely up for sharing a beer or glass of wine with my housemates and chatting about our days. One other thing, I do have a small cat. Her name is Bella, and she is only about 7 lbs and very quiet and calm. If that was a concern in any way though, she could stay in my room the majority of the time, but she is very sweet and barely makes a noise. If you have an available room, just shoot me an e-mail at erica.ridlon@gmail.com. Thanks!***

*** 9/5 My name is Kevin Culligan, and I'm a recent graduate (class of '17) from Notre Dame. I'm starting a job in McLean, VA in a few weeks, so I'm looking for a male roommate in the Washington, D.C. area. Anyone interested can reach out to me at kcullig1@alumni.nd.edu. ***

*** 9/5 Hello, I am a 2017 ND grad moving to the DC area in September. I am working in downtown DC, but I am open to living in both DC and Virginia. I would prefer a female roommate with access to a metro station.  I am a organized, easy going person who is guilty of watching too much Netflix. Please email me at stakahat@alumni.nd.edu if you know of any opportunities. Thanks!***

*** 8/17 Hey Everyone! This is Terrence, class of '95. Go IRISH! I'm transitioning back to the area after some years away and looking for a room to rent (with a bathroom) near Logan Circle. I want to keep costs low and only spend $500 a month on the room if possible. I have family in the area and am staying with them while I sort through job opportunities (e.g. legislative research analysis) in the area. I am a great high character and low drama roommate. Please email me at tporterdc@outlook.com if you know of any opportunities. Thank you and Be Richly Blessed! Terrence***

VOLUNTEER WITH CATHOLIC CHARITIES' SHARE, (Sat., Feb. 17)

NC-DC is partnering with Catholic Charities' SHARE Food Network for our monthly volunteer opportunity on Saturday, February 17. SHARE provides affordable, nutritious groceries to thousands of families in the region. Individuals and community groups pick up grocery packages at SHARE once a month. THen, community groups sell the groceries through volunteer-run locations throughout the Washington metro area. To get ready for this distribution, volunteers gather the Saturday before to bag dry food items such as potatoes, rice, and onions. This is a great service opportunity for families, teens, and groups of volunteers! Please note that this activity is appropriate for all ages, but volunteers under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult.
