*** 6/08 Master bedroom in a 3 bed, 1.5 bath row home available starting June 18 for a two week sublet (June 18-June 30) with option to renew for an additional year. I'm charging $650 for the two weeks, which includes rent and all utilities. No deposit needed. The housing situation is a bit unique. I'm moving out on June 17 to a different apartment in DC. I'm looking for someone to take over the duration of my lease, beginning on June 18 and ending on June 30. The landlord (great guy) has said that anyone who moves into the house will have the option to renew the lease for an additional year come July 1. The house comes with two roommates throughout the month of June (both early to mid 20s young professionals), but both will be moved out by July 1. One is moving in with his girlfriend and doing a "slow move out" throughout the month of June, meaning he's not living in the house but is slowly moving his belongings to the new place. The second roommate is only here for a six week internship on the Hill and will be moving out on June 30. If you take my room, you would also have the option to fill the other two rooms with your choice of roommates come July 1. The house is in a great location on 12th and G NE: a block from nightlife on H street, a 15 minute walk to Union Station, a 20 minute walk to the Capitol, and a 20 minute walk to Eastern Market. Neighbors are quiet. There's a backyard (comes with a grill) and a parking pad that would be available for use, as well as street parking. Hardwood floors throughout, recently updated kitchen with new refrigerator and dishwasher. The house does not come furnished. Most all the furniture will be moved out by June 18. The bedroom will retain the large IKEA dresser with mirrors seen in the pictures. Washer and dryer in unit. It's a great option for someone here only short term for the summer (breaks down to $50 a night). If you're interested in renewing the lease agreement come July 1, the room is also extremely affordable at $1250 plus utilities (although the price may slightly change if the landlord increases rent). Happy to answer any additional questions or set up a time for you to stop by and look at the place. Feel free to contact me at chrismillard10@gmail.com. Thanks!***

My name is Lucy Negash (C'15), and I am currently seeking a female roommate to fill my 2-bed, 2-bath apartment in the heart of Clarendon/Courthouse in Arlington, VA (just a 10-min walk to either Metro stop). Our lease is up July 16, but I am flexible on move-in through the month of July. The pet-friendly apartment is non-smoking and has a private bed and bath with spacious closets, and the building is only 2-3 years old so the space is brand new. We have an in-unit W/D and a small balcony, and we have a 24-hour gym, outdoor summer pool, and second floor grilling terrace. The room is $1,400 per month, and utilities are approximately $100-125 per month. There is also underground and street parking available.
